BIRKA CARGOs FLEET ARE GROWING
Birka Cargo has today taken delivery of the vessel mv Norcliff according to previous
information regarding the agreement of buying the vessel.
The Ro-Ro vessel m.v. "Norcliff" has a dead weight of 6.299, Finnish ice
class 1A and is built 1995. The vessel will sail under Finnish flag.
After the delivery, the vessel will immediately begin her traffic under a five year
charter for Holmen Paper AB.
The vessel name will be mv BALTIC EXCELLENT.
BALTIC EXCELLENT will mainly
sail in the Baltic Sea, North Sea and the Biscay.
On the vessel will catalytic
reduction be installed to meet the environmental policies of Holmen and Birka Cargo.
